- Sleipnir Mobile lets you bookmark webpages (in bookmarks/favorites) registered with other web browsers easily on Sleipnir Mobile as below.
- * You cannot import bookmarks from Safari and other web browsers to Sleipnir Mobile.
1. Import from iPad
- Insert “s” at the beginning of a web address on Safari or other applications and tap“Go”, then that page is opened on Slepnir Mobile. If that page is opened with another application, insert “sleipnir:// ” at the beginning.
- Just bookmark the page on Sleipnir Mobile.

2. Import from Mac
- Import bookmarks from Safari using Sleipnir for Mac, then sync bookmarks with Fenrir Pass. Bookmarks Safari can be registered with Sleipnir Mobile in this way.
3. Import from Windows
- Import bookmarks from Safari or other browsers using Sleipnir 4 for Windows, then sync bookmarks with Fenrir Pass. Bookmarks on other browsers can be registered with Sleipnir Mobile in this way.
- Sleipnir Mobile lets you manage bookmarks quickly and easily.
- You can add bookmarks by tapping the “star” at the left end of the address bar. Tap the “star” , and tap “Save” on the registration screen to bookmark the current page.
- Next, you can put the bookmarks you added into the “Bookmark Bar” folder.
- Tap the Bookmark icon at bottom right of the screen. You will then see a list of bookmarks. By default, the latest bookmark is saved at the bottom of bookmarks. Tap Edit at bottom left and put the Bookmark into the “Bookmark Bar” Folder.
- The Edit button lets you reposition and edit bookmarks and the bookmark folders.You can edit bookmark titles by tapping around them.
- You can select a folder that you want to put a bookmark in by tapping the bottom folder in the bookmark editing screen. Here, we choose the “Bookmark Bar” folder.
- Bookmarks added into the “Bookmark Bar” folder will be displayed in the Bookmark Bar for quick access.
- Furthermore, you can access more quickly to webpages by creating folders in the “Bookmark Bar” folder and sort bookmarks.
- Sleipnir Mobile lets you sync bookmarks in iPhone and iPad for free with Fenrir Pass service.
- You can use Fenrir Pass service just by registering. The registration procedure is as below.
- First, tap the Action icon in the toolbar and open the menu. Then, tap the settings.
- Tap Account in the settings screen.
- Next, tap New Account in the Input Account screen.
- Fill out the form, tap OK button after reading terms of service, and tap Create to complete the registration.
- ※You can only use alphanumeric (alphabets/numbers) and the underscore mark. The first letter has to be a letter of the alphabet.
- That's it for Fenrir Pass account registration.
- You are automatically logged into Fenrir Pass account when the account is created. By default, automatic sync of bookmarks is on, therefore, bookmarks are synchronized automatically when Sleipnir Mobile is activated/closed. Please log into Sleipnir Mobile sync settings on your iPhone/iPad with the account you created. You can use same bookmarks on all devises you are logged in.
- If you want to bookmark manually, turn off Auto Sync in the settings and tap Auto Sync for bookmarks as needed. You can set to sync only via Wifi networks.
- Hold And Go is a unique feature of Sleipnir Mobile. Hold And Go lets you open multiple links that you are interested in on new tabs while keeping the current page, and open pages that you choose from bookmarks, in new tabs in the background.
- Hold And Go provides a distinctively comfortable browsing experience on Sleipnir Mobile.
- It's so easy. You only have to tap-and-hold links.
- A new page will be opened on a new tab.
- Here, we open multiple links in the same way.
- After you open all links you want, flick to view all tabs at once.
- Being able to view these multiple tabs can be useful in various situations such as comparing items you like on online shopping sites, and viewing Youtube videos all at once.
- You can use Hold And Go from bookmarks with tap-and-hold in the same way.
- You can access information you need quickly by mastering tabs. Here, we explain how you can keep the pages you really want after you have opened a number of pages from search results.
- First, type a keyword in the address bar and do a search.
- Tap a link in the search results to open a page on a tab.
- ※If you Hold And Go (tap-and-hold), the page will be opened in the background. If you tap, the page will be opened on the main screen.
- You can view pages by tapping tabs. If you have too many pages opened and cannot view all of them in the screen, you can view all by flicking tabs.
- Unnecessary pages can be closed by swiping them downwards. Protect pages you want to keep by double tapping to avoid closing them by mistake.
- You can pick up only pages you want quickly by mastering tabs.
- You can view tab group, either by tapping the tab group icon in the tab bar, or while dragging after tap-and-hold. You can switchover tab groups by tapping the tab you want to view. Those lower lines are the currently selected tab group.
- You can access pages and the latest information quickly without using special tools/applications by sorting pages by tab groups.
- If you put your favorite blogs in one of the tab groups, you can add a new blog by dragging it. You can also remove blogs that you do not need by dragging them.
- This operation can be proceeded just by dragging tabs without opening tab groups.
- You can protect tabs by double tapping them.
- You can close all tabs except for or including protected tabs.
- Not only you can manage bookmarks using folders, but Sleipnir has FenrirFS bookmark function that also lets you manage bookmarks flexibly with labels.
- You can add bookmarks in the same way on FenrirFS. Tap the “star” at the left end of the address bar, and tap “Save” on the registration screen to bookmark the current page.
- If you add a bookmark onto FenrirFS, it will be put into Inbox.
- *The Inbox is like a folder that unsorted bookmarks are put into first. You can use it the same as conventional bookmarks without sorting them out (archiving). You can keep frequently used bookmarks in the Inbox and use it the same as “ribbons” that will be explained below.
- Next, label bookmarks and sort them.
- Tap the Inbox icon in the toolbar, then you can see that the newly bookmarked webpage has been added.
- Tap Edit at the bottom left and archive the bookmark by labeling it. Bookmarks are removed from the Inbox after being archived and labeled bookmarks are sorted in order.
- After tapping Edit, you can edit bookmarks by labeling, archiving and deleting. You can tick bookmarks by tapping around them. Those ticked bookmarks can also be deleted, archived, and labeled. Tap the right side arrow, and then you can edit bookmark titles.
- Tap the label name (no label name) in the Edit Bookmark screen, and then you can label bookmarks. Here, we choose the “Fenrir” folder that had been made beforehand. You can put multiple labels on one bookmark. If there is no label that you want to use, tap the New Label button at bottom right and create one.
- After labeling bookmarks, tap archive and remove from the Inbox.
- After labeling a bookmark in the Inbox, tap the label in the toolbar and confirm that it has been added. A bookmark with multiple labels can be viewed in each label.
- If you have too many bookmarks and have difficulty in finding the bookmark you want, you can find the bookmark easily by using bookmark search that is displayed all the time.
- If you have too many labels, put them into label groups.
- Tap the bookmark icon in the toolbar. Then, tap the Edit Labels at the bottom left.
- Tap the New Label Group button at the left bottom of the Edit Labels screen.
- If you select a label group when using create/manage a label, the label is put into the relevant label group.
- In this way, you can easily manage the number of bookmarks and labels.
- You can access special sites and frequently used bookmarklets easily by adding ribbons.
